From tailored overcoats in Colombo cashmere to down-filled vests in performance stretch, we offer a range of amazing outerwear styles that cover all climate needs and keep our Clients always looking their best.
Last year we introduced our Puffer jacket, a down-filled, ultra-lightweight style that uses the natural thermal properties of down. The characteristic horizontal channel stitching keeps the down fill in air pockets, thus retaining the body’s natural warmth. Down pieces give a cocoon-like feeling that make them a pleasure to wear, and the shell fabric of our exclusive performance stretch both protects from wind and allows for easy movement, making it perfect for commuters and travel. The new Puffer Vest was added this year as a great addition to our current vest lineup, creating even more options for layering over knits and shirts, or layering under sportcoats or coats for extra warmth. The sleeveless design of the vest makes it favorable for driving—perfect for on-the-go Clients who spend a lot of time behind the wheel.
Our Shirt Jackets are also back this season, with new fabrics and colors as we continue to help Clients discover this stylish outerwear layer as a great sportcoat replacement that effortlessly bridges the gap between casual and tailoring. It looks good on every body type, with a roomy, straight fit that is easy to wear. My favorite option on this piece is the straight hem and button front, styled over a knit. I think this looks so great and could see our stylish Clients showing up in board rooms, weekend brunches or even on the sidelines of a game in one of our Shirt Jackets.
The Quilted Shirt Jacket is another new option for a warm layer—a perfect all-season style for most climates. The quilt is reminiscent of country style, and when combined with the modernity of our tech fabric, the Quilted Shirt Jacket is on a par with any designer brand, with the added benefits of unique custom-made attributes both in fit and style options.
Our tailored outerwear was created for Clients who want that classic tailored look to layer over sportcoats and suits. I also love the look of a luxurious cashmere coat over a pair of denim for weekends and off-the-clock style, and I see this combination showing up in a lot of men’s style blogs and posts. There is something very exclusive about wearing a tailored coat with slimmed down denim and sneakers. The high-low look, combining modernity with tradition, really appeals to me. We added a Loro Piana wool to our Colombo cashmere coating range this season, and it can be custom-made into an Overcoat, Car Coat (shorter) or Peacoat (shortest) style.
