This week we launched our Pre-Spring and Resort Capsule, and as part of the Resort update, we are launching a new member to our custom-made J.Hilburn lineup, The Pull-on Pant.
The Pull-on pant name describes the characteristic style with an elasticated waistband that permits you to pull on the pant without a button and zip fastening that you would usually find in a chino or five-pocket style. It owes its design – by leveraging the success of our pull-on short, borrowing the unique waistband construction with an added drawstring to keep the pant on the waist securely. This iconic style is otherwise known as a Jogger style due to the cuffed hem that gathers the leg at the ankle, which our pull-on pant does. What differentiates us from Joggers is that this new custom-made style is not only available in our knit fabrications of TMG wool Cotton blend and cotton Honeycomb, but we are also launching it in our 4-way stretch, bestselling fabric.
I think clients are going to love this style, as it shouldn’t need much explaining as most guys have probably owned a non-custom version of this pant in some form or another. Adding this comfortable style to our lineup is a nice addition for this time of year when we all start to spend more time at home indoors, the weather gets colder, and of course, adds to our gift offering in perfect timing for the Holidays. That doesn’t mean that we thought of these pants as an “at-home” style recognizing that our modern lifestyle can have a guy in and out of his home all day long on runs to the store, the gym, etc. I am firm in the belief that feeling comfortable and being put together can exist effortlessly, and this new style proves my point, with the possibility of creating coordinated zip-through knits and sweater styles that work back to the pull-on pant. Easy to fit to his preference for how he wants this style to fit and work as a relaxed pant on the casual side of his wardrobe. We created some great new looks showing how to wear and coordinate with other pieces in the collection and help you share with our clients this new and modern style we are thrilled to add to our latest offering.
